This is a very traditional Christmas treat. Often, my mum makes them for my teachers at school, and decorates them by covering them with white fondant and adding fondant art, including stars, trees, and holly. Then, she places them on little silver cardboard trays, makes a tower of clear plastic around it, and them ties it with a ribbon on top. And if you notice, in this mixture there is alcohol. But, when alcohol is cooked, the actual alcohol disappears, yet the taste stays. And if you're still worried, I've been eating this cake since I was, like, 2. And I'm fine. At least I think I am. ;) Also, you need to start this a few days before you plan on making the actual cakes.

We all love that time of year, when you maybe spend time with family, get some presents from Santa, and maybe even get stalked by your family-friendly elf. Anyway, it is a time when you can explore the contents of your pantry until you have created hundreds of masterpieces.
